Old farm house, a photo from Bolzano, Trentino Alto Adige

Photographer's Note

Only few old farm houses are left in my vally due to the very intense tourism which brought a lot of money and many new hotels were built...

This old peasant house is one of the few left and must be one of the highest, around 1700 meters above sea lebvel. I took this shot with my zoom from the city center of Selva (see map), unfortunately I do not know its name... As you can see also here nearby (on the left) a newer house was built.

Magnifique scène de campagne en haute altitude et très intéressant ces édifices en bois. Le paysage est merveilleux avec une belle verdure et la montagne derrière qui participe grandement à la beauté de la photo. Bel éclairage et excellent rendu des couleurs.

Bello il vecchio maso e forse le altre due dei figli ...spero così per una continuità che rifugga il trasferirsi nelle città delle disoccupazioni.

Hallo Guenther,

ich mag diese hochalpinen Höfe und Bauwerke sehr, dieser hier erinnert mich ein wenigan all die vielen, die ich bei einem Urlaub in der Nähe von Bozen sehen konnte, das ist allerdings schon sehr lange her..

tolle Farben und eine sehr schön aufgebaute Aufnahme..

Hallo Günther,
ein sehr schönes Licht sorgt hier für eine ganz intensive Stimmung. Die Perspektive ist besonders interessant. Ein wunderbares Bild; leider ist die Note keine erbauliche Lektüre, es ist schade, dass soviel Kulturerbe dem schnöden Tourismus geopfert wird!

Col caldo che fa a Milano potresti chiedere ai propietari se oggi possono ospitarmi? excellent the presentation as the placement of the old farm houses in the frame and the grass that suround them.I like the high trees in the middle of the scene, with the Mt to fill perfectly the backdrop.The superb colours and light management enhance the beauty and the clarity of the image.

This is a very beautiful photo of such majestic Italian landscape in the mountain. I like the inclusion of the houses, the older one has more charm and charactor and the new one are build in the same style. Excellent colors of the green hills and deep green forest leading up to the mountain and beuatiful blue sky. Really beautiful place and a good quality photo.

Mamma mia, abiti in un paradiso. Queste case sono molto caratteristiche, peccato che sono poche nei questi giorni. Stupenda la vista ed i colori. Sembra che il Trentino-Aldige e' proprio bello o in estate o in inverno. Superbi i colori, contrasti e saturazione.
