Nice shot Peter! Great composition! I like the fact that you see little sky and lots of water. Although judged by the reflection on the water, you oversharpend a liitle maybe.. funny subject too; who won? Swimmer or boats?

The clarity, mood and tones (balance of lights and darks) of this photo are so very nice.

Good composition and lighting! I love the sun jewels on the water. I agree on the over sharpening. You may want to back off on the contrast a bit as well.

Peter, this picture is my biggest inspiration here on TrekEarth. I am studying it since days to further my way of expression. Care to provide any details, how you got the rich reflection on the swimmer's waves? (Polarizer, shooting against the sun, whatever.) Thanks in advance

wow this is an excellent photograph peter and unlike some people here i think the contrast here is really really good.
it's a short life and i wanna enjoy life to it's fullest , thats why i guess i have an extreme taste. when it comes to black and white , i like high contrast black and white, with the whites and the blacks depending on the mood of the photograph, in case of colours i think bland colours are really boring. this one on the other hand is great. i thin that this photograph of yours and a few more in your gallery are highly underrated. wil have to take a look at them again when i have more time
till then,,, take care :)
