A secund view of the lighthouse Paard van Marken (Horse of Marken).

Marken is an ancient island in the Ijselmeer ( Zuiderzee). Marken is now connect to the "continent" by a causeway (1957).

Marke is a very charming village with chanels, bridges et characteristic wooden houses.

Bonjour Roger ,
Tu as utilisé le temps gris de très belle manière pour nous offrir une magnifique composition , à l'ambiance particulière . Beaucoup d'éléments forts judicieusement placés dans ce format carré : l'homme ,le vélo , le phare , le voilier . Le ciel est sobre , mais beau .
Le seul petit défaut est que la ligne d'horizon penche un peu .

Hello Roger,
I liked the first picture from here but I think this is even better. You have a very strong foreground of the man on the bench, and the bicycle tells us a bit about the country and its way of life. Although the bicycle "parking place" (I can't recall the word in English) is not so pretty, the view is outweighed by the man and the cycle. And of course the background with the lighthouse and the dark sky is as enchanting as ever.

Ciao Roger,
c'è una leggera pendenza sulla sinistra dell'orizzonte, ma la composizione è davvero molto bella e ben curata.
L'uomo seduto sulla panchina che guarda verso il mare, sembra forse pensare alla sua vita, a ciò che è stata e a ciò che ancora potrebbe essere.

Il faro... quello del mio amico estinto.

Bonsoir Roger,

Le vélo envoie mon regard vers le phare et ensuite vers l'horizon ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du phare. Le ciel nuageux donne un bon contraste aux couleurs. Bonne soirée.

The man sitting on the bench with bike gives this photo depth,the colors and lighting are excellent for a cloudy day. The photo is nice and sharp.

Hallo Roger,

Zeker een van de meest gefotografeerde (en fotogenieke) vuurtoren van Nederland (ik kom er ook zelf heel graag).
Het mooie van deze foto is dat hij zich onderscheidt van de vele anderen, je kijkt als ware over uw schouders mee.
Naast deze mooie standpunt is de foto ook heel mooi belicht en verdeeld.
Dat de horizon wat scheef staat is overigens een goede keuze, liever dat, dan dat "het Paard" omvalt.

Samengevat: een mooie en verzorgde foto.

very attractive photo. I like the man enjoying the view in the foreground and the bike which is a must element in a Dutch photo. The lighthouse is cute and charming and contrasts with this dark clouds approaching. There is so much going on here, I really enjoy it. I like the interesting colors of the water and the sky. Natural yet very unusual,

I like every thing in this image. The light house is very beautiful with those tri colors. The ship sailing, the man with his bicycle watching creates a very good mood. Very nice peaceful atmosphere. An excellent shot with superb colors and sharpness.

A wonderful place for take a break on the bench with sight on sea.
The imminent sky makes these picture very attractive.
Mon ami Roger, I want give one advice, the horizion tilt a little bit, think in future to this problem avoid.
Yet a very nice image with excerllent colors and good presentation.

Bonjour Roger.
Une image très belle, le POV est très bien avec le cycliste et son vélo dans le premier plan, comme si de la banque dans le vaste paysage avec le phare et de toucher voilier agréable.
La lumière diffuse du jour nuageux est magnifique, la couleur est aussi belle.

This lighthouse seems rather small but painted in this unusual way looks very nice. Pleasant photo, with the bike has a typical Dutch look. Nice composition, cloudy day but they make an atmosphere here.
