Photographer’s Note
Song Kul in Kyrgyzstan is a lake situated at 3000 m height. It is flanked by endless grasslands, scattered with yurts of people who have their cattle grazing there during the summer. By the time this photo was taken, it was already late in the season, and some heavy weather was approaching - hence the variations in light intensity. In such a landscape, nice photos emerge spontaneoulsy - we didn't even have to adjust the colours or the saturation.

This is one of those pictures that makes me want to visit the place where it was taken. Thanks Wouter and Jasminka, you´ve achieved to play with the light while this light was playing with the landscape. Beautifull colours.
PS: I note would be advisable, specially about such an unknow place like Kyrgyzstan

Nice piece of landscape with misty hills in the background adding to the impression of 'far-awayness'. The car on the road leaving a smoky trail resembles American films, sort of, but the suroundings are quite un-American :-). WIshes. Tom
