Eat at Joe’s... Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, California...

Fisherman's Wharf is the traditional home of San Francisco's fishing fleet and a very popular destination... a long coastal row of seafood restaurants, street vendors, and waterfront attractions... combined with a major fishing pier...

This shot was taken on a very wet evening... the wire above the street is used for the cable cars that run up and down the hills of San Francisco... slight adjustment on PS...

My first night shot on TE, what do you think???... any advise for my next shot...

Très belle image avec beaucoup de nuances, un noir profond... Comme quoi, même les fast-food et les bagnoles...

Superb night shot Joseph. The colour, detail and sharpness are excellent. I like the reflections on the wet road and the light streaks on the passing car. You did well to include that in the frame. Any advice for your next shot? More of the same quality as this one please!

wow, a nicely captured nighttime shot. great neon lighting with a great effect of the reflections on the wet street. also the moving car is nice too.

Hi Joseph. Excellent night shot you made here - the diagonal shooting angle is well chosen, the exposure is well balanced to render the neon illuminations of the shops and restaurants. And I really have to say that the wet weather worked out in favor of the result you got - the colorful light reflections on the street beautify the overall photo greatly. It's very well made and I don't have a lot of advice to give - except (a) asking for more of that kind, and (b) mentioning that "dawn shots" (with some remaining daylight still available in the sky) are also a genre that's very worth exploring ;-)

Excellent night shot!
Very fantastic neon reflected to a wet road. It might use NeatImage to remove the noise in the sky, or take when brightness remains in the sky a little. but I really like this image. Thanks Joseph!

Magnificent picture ! The neon lights create beautiful reflections on the rainy road. Perfect exposure and the car passing quickly in front of you, makes the whole picture quite living. I feel like having been splashed by the car.

IS the first time that I see your work and I like street mouvement like a few of my recent posts, at "TE". This is interesting in contrast, colors and speed life at living at night. Very interesting perspective, funny and creative in this way of making good photos. Thanks for sharing with us, for your guidelines and my particular happy new year to you!

Nice shot! The neon and car lights reflections in the road make it very colorfull. The entire shot is so sharp (except the car, of course...), I can see a lot of details inside the stores at left! Very good! Just a comment, but maybe you can try to 'delete' in PS the cable cars wire in the dark sky (top-middle to left), just to see the diference... maybe not... :)

Wonderful shot Joseph. I like it a lot. The colours are awesome and the image is sharp. I love the motion lines from the car and the reflections on the wet road. They give the photo a really cool effect. Good composition and DOF. Well done! Keep up the good work.
