Photographer’s Note
To conclude my Lurs series, here is a panorama view of Lurs, where you can see how it is positioned on the hill, the left part here correspond to the one you have already seen in the "View from Lurs" photo.
Four photos have been assembled here with Pixmaker. Please click on the photo to view the large version.
I'm gonna leave you for a while, due to an urgent need to walk my dogs in the mountains and also to fill my memory cards :))

Salut Jean Yves
An excellent choice for a panoramic format. It is unusual to see a hilltop town. More often villages are on the plain adjacent to a river. I suppose it has something to do with safety from marauding tribes in past centuries. Tres bon!

Great panoramic to conclude your Lurs series, Jean-Yves. The unique way this village is situated on the mountainside is extremely well illustrated, and the amount of crisp details in the large version makes for a very enjoyable viewing. Also very nice to read this from left to right, starting with the undulating landscape and culminating in the special architecture. Well stitched.

super.
