Open air section of Military Museum in fortress Kalemegdan, Belgrade. Little girl playing with old russian T34 tank on the first day of this year... that reminds me of the recent war in this part of the world, and the relief knowing that the war is over...

this is such a strong image and it looks even stronger as a silhouette. i like the tree framing it, cos it adds a weird sort of peacefulness to this pic. is that really a girl or a statue??

The girl looks like a sculpture, a piece of the tank. kinda gives it an air of collision of peace with war in the same place. very nice!
