Last of a small series of five pictures taken last weekend on what seemed like the first real spring day.
Warm and sunny, the flowers are blooming and leaves are budding. And today, as if to prove the point I heard my first curlews of the year, a real sign for me that spring has sprung.
This little stream runs into the river featured in yesterdays post, No 4.
Little yellow man text here.
The other four in the series are here :
Thanks for following them all....

Spring is sprung, the grass is ris.
I wonder where the birdie is.
They say the bird is on the wing.
But that's absurd.
I always thought the wing was on the bird.
(My Mum taught me that one.)
This photograph, Martin, is just wonderful!
Beautifully soft colours, lovely lighting, incredible detail and perfect composition, the little pond with its central island drawing the eye. A lovely photograph! Another thing I really appreciate is that the sky is, I am sure, exactly how it was when you took the picture - there's no need to darken it or play around with it at all - it's just fine the way it is, a pale spring sky.

Lovely shot. I can see the trees are coming alive. Pretty soon, it will be beautiful with flowers and leaves. Nice landscape.

The title of this miniseries sounds optimistic but I do not see many signs of the coming spring. The trees still have no green leaves, I do not see budding, no flowers. I do not hear curlew eather... But I like here the beautiful landscape and charming atmosphere. The photos were made long time ago so by now it must be there sensational view. Pleasant shots. It seemed that I would see it also and wewould meet but at the moment I have some doubts.
