Good unusual portrait in this famous setting. Effective use of a very wide angle and high DoF to catch both the subject and guy in the distance sharp. Great first posting, welcome to TE.

B&W is a good choice for this particular photo. very nice work, i like how the old man seems to be looking back at the person in the far right, its as if there's suspicion in the air.
welcome to TE!

Wow, I love this photo! There is so much about it that works... the composition is amazing. The three shadows at centre make the picture. Man! I like this. I'm not being very articulate, forgive me. Just -- wicked photo.

Great composition. The wide angle is well managed here with the other subject in the background on the right.
The shadows on the ground also complement well your compo.
Welcome to TE. I'm looking forward to see your next posts.

Haa, M6 and 21/4 Voigtländer, a roll of Tri X, same equipment as mine ;) ... I'm quite satisfied with the 21mm even though it's sometimes a bit sloppy in the corners, the Leica would be better for sure but at 10 times the price (bought mine in HKG, less than 300USD) ...
As for your shot I like how you managed that great piece of negative space, populated only with shadows, good & original idea...yeah a pity about the focusing, too bad... overall good stuff though.

21mm?
you must go really close to that man. Not everyone can taking reportage photos so close becouse of fear.

Yeah, the angle you chose and the wide lens turned that common scene into a very dynamic picture. I find the composition extremely good. And I do like very much the subtle B&W tones. It's a great picture to me.
