Photographer’s Note
Volcanoes Ixtaccihuatl and Popocatépetl and the small town Amecameca, near Mexico city.
The photo had been shot through the window of a plane, so it shurely needed some post processing (PS, NeatImage).

Emazing Picture!! Was during a free jump ? If it was from a plane there is no window reflexion. Very well done!

from a commercial plane? anyway, this is really clear for a smoggy place and through a plane window. Sharp details and well saturated.

Excellent shot Akos!
I just returned form Mexico City, fascinated with the country, but very sad not to have seen the volcanos. The locals told me that it should be around spring in order to get a clear view because of the mist (and the smog) of DF. But there is now way I could have captured such a magnificent view!!!
I just put this one as my Desktop Wallpaper

On this photo you see the two volcanoes and the saddle between them it´s called PASO DE CORTEZ that´s where Hernan Cortez first saw tha Aztec city of Tenochtitlan.
You can also see in the background two volcanoes, that´s La Malinche and the fartest is Pico de Orizaba.
