Foggy street at night, a photo from Lao Cai, North East

Photographer's Note

This photo has been taken in January in Sapa, when it was pretty cold and foggy all the time. I took this one using a 50mm lens at f/2.2 and focused on the hotel balcony to blur the activities in the foggy street. It was raining very lightly.

Amazing details, a very nice atmosphere.

One would think of the streets of Chicago in the 1930s.

I am also delighted to see a "different" shot from Sapa.

I feel as though I am sitting in a room sipping tea and gazing out the window. You have successfully captured a moment in time as well as the mood of that moment.
