Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken on my Honeymoon to the Oregon Coast. We started out in Cannon Beach and took 4 days to drive down the Coast ending up in Cresent City, California before turning towards home. The photo was taken in Bandon, Oregon and is of the Coquille River Lighthouse.
I took many photos of this lighthouse, but this one turned out the best.
I rotated it a bit to the left and cropped. I didn't like my other versions with all the post processing, increasing the contrast, sharpness etc....so I settled on this one I simple turned and cropped. I don't know why my other versions didn't improve the shot??

I like the lighthouse specially the vertical rusty spot. Tje photo seems to have a loss of quality, the grasses are blurry and the there are artifacts in various areas. I do like the composition and the overall seacoast/vacation feel of the photo.
I hope you don't mind my honesty.

I like this, it has a feeling of happy childhood holidays...I can see why you didn't want to change it, it wouldn't have had that same natural feel. Thanks for sharing

nice image of the coquille river light house. wonder if you have tried a polarizing filter? also the strip of sky along the right edge seems a bit narrow. i have been here several times and think over all the composition is very good. like the grasses and drift wood in the foreground leading into the frame. very nice image.

I think I like this composition better than the other view you have posted of this light. I think it's cropped to tight, and a little on the contrasty side...I still like it, I am a sucker for lighthouses...
