Poorvo River Photo

Photographer’s Note

Poorvo is the second oldest city in Finland. Finland is a country that border's Russia in the eastern side of the European union. It has very nice country side specially on summer but it is a very expensive place to visit. Poorvo is a living architecture museum.

I was crossing a bridge over the Poorvo river, when I saw this beautiful reflection of domestic buildings over the water. There was no breeze and the water is very still. I almost forgot I was part of a tour group because I spent some time appreciating the sight. My original came out sharp but it is unfortunate that when I reduce the image size for uploading, the picture loses it's sharpness. Well composed, very nice capture.
But the picture should in much bigger size,
and perhaps, sharpness is too much increased by some software ...

This is a beautiful view with very quiet water, so the reflections are very natural. Also very nice how the sky reflects in the water. Overall very nice bright colours. I would really like to see this picture in a bigger size (resolution).
Nice that you forgot everything around you when busy trying to take a picture. Now that I've discovered photography, I view the world entirely differently and can't stop looking around me, above me, etc. The world can be such a beautiful place. It's nice I'm more aware of that now.

Very good - great colours & reflections in the water. I would agree about Finland being very nice but a little expensive - although that shouldn't put anyone off as it's well worth visiting!

Good composition, nice colors and beutiful reflections. It is a pitty the picture is so small.
