Photographer’s Note
Here's another shot from a walk I took on practivally the only day during the holidays when we had good photo weather. You know how sometimes you don't need much snow or cold to get that winter feeling nevertheless? Well, at this bend in the Alzette river, where the ducks had gathered for a quiet swim and the late afternoon sun shone on the old wash-house in the background, the winter mood was there. And it doesn't happen too often, so when it's there you try to catch it.
I didn't crop this one, I simply resized and clarified and shrpened a bit. If it seems a little dark, that is the way it was. But maybe I should have worked more on it, hard to tell.

Hi compatriote, nice picture. Is it near the grund?
Well composed, pleasing colors.
Nice warm mood in the picture.
For me 2 things can be improved:
1; Clone the tree in front out (hell of a job)
2; I think you oversharpened a bit.

I'm like you, but I don't make a good or not so good critique. In this case, I found that you make more sharpness that you did in your some similar, but I sincerely say that is difficult to make the result, and this matter in fact is not a sooooo.. important problem. I think that sometimes is better don't make any corrections. So, your work is generally a good work with your attention and adviced point of view! Thanks for sharing and don't mind my peculiar attention.

Hi Per. I don't find this one too dark at all, quite to the contrary it looks like a fine and true rendition of the light on the winter day, and of the way in which the sun breaks through. The composition is also delightful with a good usage of the riverbend and the adjacent man-made elements. The only chant I'm going to join in with is the one about sharpness being too pronounced. But I still like it.

Great composition for this nice place.
All objects are at the right place and the light offers nice shaapes, the trees are very well caught.

Ho Per, a very beautiful winter picture, maybe this for "Carte Postale" Per, the colours are very soft and really, the few snow give a extra colour an this picture.
Excellent composition, my compliments!

Perfect timing, the light of the sun and the snow gives it very good contrast.
Very good.
