Lovely colours and your composition is excellent David. The curves are sinuous; whenI looked at the thumbnail it looked like an octopus. My only suggestion would be to try a shorter DOF, to throw the background out of focus.

Lovely colors and composition. I also thought it was an octopus on the thumbnail and with that title too. I agree with Nina for the DOF, but still nice as it is.
