Photographer’s Note
Well, I know this photo is not high quality. But I am posting it since it shows the relative locations of many subjects of my previous photos and because I think it might help people who don't know about Istanbul understand better what is where.
First of all, this peninsula is the historical peninsula. The photo is taken just above the Bosphorus. On the left is the Marmara Sea and on the right of the peninsula is the famous Golden horn (it is not the Bosphorus) It comes to an end although it is not seen in the photo.
The lowest bridge is this bridge. A closer versions of the ships seen belows can be found here
The rectangular complex on the central line of the photo and close to the sea is the Topkapi Palace which can be seen here. Harem is also a part of Topkapi Palace.
Hagia Sofia is just next to it on the left side of it and go a little bit more left you see the Blue Mosque.
There are many things I and fellow photographers have photographed here in this photo, but they are not distinguisable any more. I hope this helps at least a little bit. Thanks a lot...

A nice aerial shot of Istanbul Seda. I did a workshop to adjust the levels in Photoshop. Unfortunately, I reached my workshop limit today. I will post it tomorrow.

Nice aerial picture from Istambul.
I passed this year over Istambul, but weather was bad, no chance for picture, like this one

Very nice to show us this, Seda. The city really spreads out beautifully. I have studied the ancient city and have seen maps and drawings of ancient Constantinople and I can clearly see the ancient city right here in the modern. The main roads and squares of the ancient city still leak through 1800 years later. The line of the walls is really clearly seen today, too, from this aerial perspective. It's also amazing how tiny the Hagia Sophia and mosques all appear from here. So small on this very large city by ancient standards. The boats coming and going add an animated feel to this. The workshops really helped to bring out what the haze was obscuring here. Thanks for this view.
