Photographer’s Note

As snow melts in the Rockies, it flows into one of many such small ponds, on it's way down the mountains. The water eventually ends up in our reservoirs ... We are blessed with clean and tasty tap water to drink in Colorado!

Very pretty. Technically perfect: hot line coming from the left to attract the eyes (small brook) beautiful landscape, beautiful luminosity and depth of field, the superb colors, natural elements at the right-hand side to add to the composition... very succeeded. I read much on the technics of photograph these times, and I can say that this one is successful!

Stunning Landscape! the colours are gorgeous, the greens/yellows/blues all go so well together, the tree is great in the forground, maybe it should be a little bigger, just a little more main trunk? But forget that, this shot is amazing! has been added to my favourites, thanks for sharing!

This is a good landscape shot. The saturation and the depth of this picture are very good. I prefer to see more tree in this picture for the foreground.

Very nice photo Jennifer...
Anything in the 'rockies' is good...but this one is very nice. I'll post a workshop with a little color enhancement. I also wish that you had included more of the aspen in the right side. It looks very interesting and gives a sense of balance to the image. Did you use a UV filter at all? I have found that it makes your colors 'pop' just a little more (I think that a UV filter is more important for digital than for film...). All in all it's a nice image.

Did someone describe this as heaven on earth!Fantastic viewpoint and I love the effect of the foreground right tree which in a large number of photographs would serve to annoy rather than enhance - brilliant and thanks for sharing such a beautiful place.

you find the most unreal beauty. i seriously can't stop looking. i love the way my eye just naturaly wanders through this image. the colors are amazing.

my only complaint, you need to get back in the TE & TL groove. where you hiding?
