Photographer’s Note
This is the bandstand and the reflection pond at my local town. I like the the dramatic sky's and neat reflections that infrared delivers.
Technical details.
IR72 filter (stop visible spectrum) camera on nightshot mode (especial feature of the Sony Cameras that allows part of the IR spectrum to reach the CCD). In post processing B&W conversion, curves adjustment and toning treatment.

Bravo! I like the IR feel of this. The composition is also very good.
I did play around with cropping it a little tighter to see what it would look like without the willow tree on the left. What do you think?

hola, jesus, indeed - bravo, nice outcome of the ir experiment; i'd love to see the full-colour option, as well, to be able to compare the effect with "original" version of the place; anyhow - nice pic

Great job in this one. An almost dreamlike effect achieved. Good placement of details all topped by the fine clouded sky. Well made postprocess and choice of sepia.

Just too beautiful to critique .. ..
Seems to be a drawn image
The clouds, trees, water, the road, and the bandstand .. .. what an ambience ..
Really the place sounds silent.

It has the feel of a setting for a fairytale. Beautifully sharp and excellent use of B&W.

The infrared filter is something very interesting and the way you use it is great. The tones and details are great. Still I think in this one the "horizon" is a bit centered even if that building grab our attention sucessfully. A lower POV, near the lake border and pointing up could also have been a good option. You would keep all the elements of the photo and lower the horizon.

Felicitaciones

This picture has everything to convey calm, peaceful, atmosphere. A road carefully leading to a bandsatnd, framed with frozen trees, deep sky, and slightly rippled water surface. Using infrared? Whoa, have never heard there cams having this functions.
