Lake Louise lies in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies (1731m). The park is ninety minute drive west of Calgary in the province of Alberta. Banff and Lake Louise are the main cities of the Park. Surroundings are absolutely fabulous.
Lake Louise is Canada's largest ski area (which is not really observable on that picture...).

Very nice Shot, i like the proportion of the POV : the Lake, the 2 kind of Moutain the Sky and the reflection ...

A very nice photo. I like the portrait mode of this shot to get this scene. I am suprised at the decent DOF for only 3.3 for the aperture setting. I hope to visit this area one day to capture all the beautiful scenery.

Belle composition: un premier plan calme et reposant, histoire de prendre son élan. Puis les flèches verticales des sapins qui font naturellement converger les regards vers la pyramide sommitale de la montagne de l'arrière-plan. Les 2 canoteurs du premier-plan donnent une bonne idée de la profondeur, de la hauteur et de l'échelle.
Le cadrage est conventionnel, mais ne sachant pas ce qu'il y a à gauche ou à droite...

Marc this photo is one of my favorites in your collection. So peaceful. So far away from the hustles of a big city like Houston. Just wonderful
