Photographer’s Note
Somewhere in the desert, even if our bedouins new the desert, they often had to use their binoculars to look for the camp site. Yasser is very concentrated on his job, didn't notice I was takent a picture of him.
Had a lot to work on that one, print was OK, but after scanning, yerk.: NeatImage first and clone tool on the sky to remove spots, then selected sky and gradiant blue applied, a soft glaussian blur on the sky and sand, and then sharpening tool and burn tool on Yasser, finally a light contrast added and decreased brightness. and, oh yes, cropped to the right, there was the same amount of sand on each side.

Based on all the work you did, the scanned copy must of looked pretty bad. I like the the composition, but the image looks a bit "over cooked" to my eye. I played around a bit and converted to a grayscale and think that might work better. Of course this only my opinion.

Nice..... wonder if they ever get lost? It looks a bit too colored on his skin and the sand...

I like it! - the style of this pic reminds to me the coloured magazines from 1930ies. I would think that he (Yasser) is a bit too close
