Photographer's Note
While visiting Lake Titicaca, we hired a local guide to take us to some of his favorite off-the-beaten-path towns so we could see what daily life in rural Peru was like. On the way back from the beautiful town of Lampas, we stopped at the house of one of our guide's friends, who graciously invited us into his home and introduced us to his family. This was his little daughter. She seemed very curious about what we were doing and why we had stopped by to visit.
