Good shot! This really is a Christmas scene, you've done well to impart the feel of Christmas so well without resorting to using Photoshop. I have a feeling that the big Santa wouldn't look out of place in a cartoon series, or maybe featuring in a sequel to Ghostbusters ;)
Technically I like it a lot, but there's a slight blue/cyan colour cast due to the overcast/evening light - you could make the picture more "welcoming" I think if you warm it up a bit (ColorBalance +yellow +red).
