Photographer’s Note

This is the castle Rosenborg in the heart of Copenhagen.
I took this picture on a very sunny day in May, after having spent quite a lot of time sunbathing in the garden of the castle, something a lot of Danes do on sunny days.

I have to say, the idea for this picture came from a friend, who wants me to say that always when I show this photo ;)

Rosenborg was built between 1606 and 1634 by King Christian IV as a sort of countryhouse. It was built in Dutch Renaissancestyle. Frederik VI decided in 1833 to make a museum of it and you can still visit the castle, where you can see the crown-jewels.

Dette billede viser Rosenborg Slot i København på en meget solrig eftermiddag. Jeg tog billedet efter en idé af en veninde.
