I bet it was a cat. But it was quite far from the residential area. This place can be seen on another photo. It is there, far in the bushes.

Great composition with tracks almost leading from corner to corner. Maybe a lower perspective would have worked as well. Thanks for sharing

Hi Vasi, the lighting was perfect for this shot of the footprints. I love the contrasts of the shadows on the snow, and the curving line of the animal tracks going between the trees and off into the distance.
