Ook in het archief gaan duiken Hans, bij dit grijs weer is het plezierig om nog eens naar de vorige zomerbeelden te kijken, en welke beelden, deze mensen genieten blijkbaar van de mooie weer, de verschillende bouwstijlen op de achtergrond maken uw foto wel zeer leuk, het groene gras en de blauwe hemel krijgen wij er gratis bij.

It is a wonderful sunny photo for thies cold days. Actually that's how I remember Amsterdam from my first visit there, 12 years ago - it was a sunny day in the middle of the winter, and the city looked so happy about it. A very good shot.

Cher Hans,
En voyant la vignette, je me suis dit "Amsterdam, s'est déplacée sur le planisphère, elle est tombée très au Sud ! ;-)
C'est bien agréable de replonger en plein mois d'août et se reposer sur une pelouse formant le toit d'un supermarché (fait assez rare d'ailleurs, tout au moins en France).
Une vue très originale et bien réalisée.

Hi Hans what I like in this shot is that it transmits a relaxed feeling not normally associated with a big burstling city. Also the ancient and rather small houses contribute to a village feeling, I like that.

Lovely capture Hans, the people relaxing and soaking up the sun rays and the hard contrast with the interesting set of old facades in the background. Thanx indeed for this summer scene! Very fine work.

Light and from summer, good as I ear the wind and rain coming from the sea and hurting my windows...
Good one, whith a lot of colors, finaly its graphical, whith the lines and the angle of the roof.

That's a funny shot Hans, and seems so long ago now. Interesting graphic shot, with the corner of the lawn placed centrally, gaving a slightly strange semi abstract feel to it.

Thanks for sharing this shot, Hans. I have only read about low impact roofing - provides superior insulation I believe. It does add "mow the roof" to one's list of chores.

Very nice picture.

I like the lines (the houses are straight and the grass is crooked). I also like the happy crips colours. I know this place, nice to see it back from this point of view.

Very pleasant casual scene. The colors and details are very good as well the control of the exposure. And this being a roof is very original! :-)
