Harbor of Avenhorn Photo

Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken at the harbor of Avenhorn, a real small village near Hoorn. Avenhorn lied within the borders of Hoorn round 1400. And the harbor is not connected to any see but just a typical dutch spot for people to start/end there trip into the 'polders'. This 'polder' is called the Mijzenpolder and lies within the area that is reserved by UNESCO as a world Inheritance.

Nice sky and colors, i like the reflections in water too. But the midle of the photo look little grey. Welcome on TE.

David,hi!In stagnat water always reflection purer, I adore reflection of the sky and this picture to me very much it is pleasant !

Great first posting, in the style of the great dutch paint-masters.
The refelection is just grand.
Although i'm dutch, I have no idea where you shot this.

Welcome to TE David and congrats on an excellent first post. The reflection is superb with great colours and there is a wonderful smooth feel to the image.
