Photographer's Note

The statue of Christ, the Redeemer, in Rio de Janeiro, was an inspiration for many other equal statues throughout Brazil. One example is this replica in the town of Elói Mendes, in the South of the state of Minas Gerais, which we can see from the road. I dedicate this picture to my children - Samuel (4 years old) and the one we just found in the womb.
