The weather in Punta Arenas is often very grey, windy and rainy. That is probably a reason why people use very bright colours to paint their houses. The city is situated on the border of the Straith of Maghelan in Chili's most southern part. Far away from the rest of the world I was not surprised to see this good old VW which in Europe has become an oldtimer.

The colours in this picture work very well together. It's a very pleasing effect. I've always liked the curves of the Beetle too.
