Photographer’s Note

The title is exagerated a little, but what I mean, It's that even a village not particularly pretty can take romantic appearances the night. I love here lights of the city, the felted water at the bottom, the crescent of ice which reflects the lights. The photograph is a bit blured, but It's just more soft and romantic!

I like very much the colors and the effect of the water running true the ice. I thing that if you had rotate a litle bit the photo, all image would be more nice. Congratulations!!

Une belle prise, pleine de douceur avec ces formes généreuses et ce léger flou parfaitement de circonstance. La pose longue est du meilleur effet, très bien réalisée, j'aime bien !

Immagine stupenda! Ottimo l'accostamento tra la luce artificiale e la luce narturale, il grande gelo viene leggermente scaldato dalle calde luci dei lampioni...

Hi Pascal, I think you're right with what you write in your note.
The blurred foreground seems to be fast running water. The streetlantarns changed into nice,yellow stars, which gave a nice reflection on the ice.

As a matter of fact, it is true. Even a backwater town, with enough bright and colorful light, a stream with a bridge or a fountain can make it, into a lovely and romantic village. The soft glow of the running water and the interesting night sky coupled with the starry effect from the street light, make this a romantic calling card for St Jerome.

C'est impressionnant parfois ce qu'un endroit peut avoir l'air! J'aime beaucoup les formes dans l'eau et les couleurs. Les lumières qui se réflètent sur la glace. Et la neige mauve et rouge.

c'est vraiment joli comme réalisation! les couleurs sont magnifiques.et puis ne vous inquiétez pas, vous avez raison le léger flou ajoute à l'effet romantique. trés bonne composition

Très romantique en effet! Beau jeu de lumière et la glace à l'avant plan donne un relièf très doux.

J'aime bien cette image, elle est composé de plusieurs éléments intéressants. Les reflets de la lumière sur la neige, la glace et l'eau sont bien captés et définis par la photo. Ensuite, le temps d'exposition donne un effet smooth à l'eau qui est superbe.

Le travail de composition de cette photo est excellent.

This is a super shot Pascal, you caught the right light and createda great composition. It is a bit blurry I always use a self timer and put the camera on a garbage bin or other tall objects. You right the blurrines gives it a romantic feel too, Great photo thank you for sharing

I don't think that Venice could reach the beauty of this, as I don't think that snow visits the famous italian town very often! Very beautiful photo with magnificent colours and a wonderful mood. The lighting is perfect and despite the noise, the sharpness is satisfying. Very good work!
