Les petites filles de Jambiani ont la mer comme terrain de jeu.
Mais elles travaillent.
A marée basse, sous le soleil brûlant, elles pêchent les alevins à mains nues.
Elles ramassent les coquillages pour en faire des colliers.
Elles devraient se plaindre et pleurer.
Mais elles rient de se voir en photo.

The little girls of Jambiani have the sea like playing field.
But they work.
With low tide, under the extreme sun, they fish alevins with naked hands.
They collect the shells to make collars of them.
They should complain and cry.
But they laugh to be seen in photograph.
