Hello Trond,
A beautifully conceived shot. I like the composition and quality very much. I think, I might have cropped the image at the top step, in order to suggest that the steps do indeed ascend without limits.

I also agree with Dr. Atalay (Bulent) about the crop. Otherwise, I think this is a really good photo with excellent DOF and textures in the FG.
