There are some lovely new buildings in Dubai, if you like that sort of thing. Is is sustainable in that part of the world?

Hi Mike. A really good perspective from here. Also a nice quality of the picture. The B&W works well.
Whether or not this is sustainable I guess depends on what we mean by sustainability. But on most accounts, probably not. That will be discussed a lot on the climate summit here in Copenhagen. Well, a long discussion there..

Hi Mike --
You have found a nice and interesting POV. And more interesting the fact is here B/W works so well since the point you have raised.
Detailing, hardness and sharpness are just fine here.

i was in holiday with my family in UAE for swimming and shopping a few days ago and yes it is amazed me with the man-made tall structures along Sheikh Zayed Road, esp. Burj Dubai where is tallest ever built, 818 mt (2.684 ft).It makes all the other skyscrapers around it look small:)...they built a lot in dubai however in my opinion there is no soul of the city, everywhere and everything are mixed sample copy from the bests of the world; best aquarium, best mall, best hotel, best building, best bowling area, best closed skiing area, etc.
anyway,it is still perfect location to see:)
your photo shows us all detail of the city, fine presentation with B&W...

Cracker of a shot. Love the use of B&W.
Very clean, clear and sharp. This is a great presentation.

A nice pov to get a comprehensive view of this buildings forest, surprisingly no cranes on the unfinished towers here, unlike in the financial center where nearly each tower has one, and given the last news they might stay for a while
have a nice day JY

Impressionante questa immagine! Ma a che piano stavi? Incredibile sembra un modellino! Perfetta la definizione che fa leggere tutti i dettagli, bello anche il bianco e nero! Ottimo lavoro!
