This day (15th of August)is the most important celebration of the Virgin Mary.

Quite an interesting and picturesque place and monastery. I think you have a tradition in Greece for monasteries carved in the rock. This terrace must have a fantastic panorama and shows several points of interest: the objects of cult under the pergola of grapes, the statues of the Madonna and Jesus on the cave above and the lovely chapel with red tiles. also the presence of the people makes the composition more alive.
A well shot composition and a nice presentation.

Βασίλη καλημέρα,
ωραίο το πλάνο από τον προαύλιο χώρο του Μοναστηριού, με τους επισκέπτες να κάθονται και να απολαμβάνουν την θέα του Αργολικού κάμπου από τόσο ψηλά. Στις 15 Αυγούστου θα γίνεται το έλα να δεις από τους πιστούς που θα πλημμυρίζουν το Μαναστήρι.
