Venetian restoration cir/1979 (Scanned) Photo

Photographer’s Note

In the Spring of 1979 a friend of mine, my daughter and I, all took a three week trip from Napoli (Naples) to Rome, Capri, Venice and Florence. This was one of the few days of blue skies and sunshine. I don't remember what kind of camera I was using then, but that slide is 30 years old. :)) Came upon it as I was cleaning up the hundreds and hundreds of shots I won't ever even look at much less do anything with... Hope you enjoy it.

This slide scanned really nicely. There is a lot of detail here and it shows well. I wonder if they are still working on it? ;))

Digitalization reduces of it a little clearness and given much contrast, with the image which remains very interesting and pleasant to see. An good image of your files which you propose with reason. Cheer.

Very clean scan and a well chosen vertical format with a tasteful frame.
1979! Those were the days my friend we thought they would never end.

Event though the photo is scanned, the architecture looks very impressive. I presume some restoration work was going on at that time.
