oh, when you find out let me know, I have seen them around and in my ignorance of all things botanical I have no clue about them...
these stylized plants/flowers work very well in b/w, it's the graphical and the pattern-like aspects that come out best in monochrome.
I also like the way you used the background light, non-intrusive and yet present.

impressive b&w composition. The strong contrasts enhance the shape of these beautiful flowers. The name of them is not important. What matters here is their graphical apealing. Very well executed shot!

malgré ce choix de N&B l'impression de froid est bien restitué, beau travail, j'aurai aimé voir une version couleurs pour evaluer la différence, bon boulot

superbe cette plante en contre jour et n&b,on la dirait en bourgeons,chez moi j'ai me même genre,mais c'est un arbustre de magnolias qui est aussi en train de bourgeonner (en automne !!!) etonnant.
en tout cas c'est superbe comme realisation,

Re-bonsoir Cyrille,

Pour cette photo-ci, j'aime beaucoup la mise au point avec ce flou sur l'arrière plan qui ne perd pas son intérêt pour autant. J'aime également le détail de ces Turlupinus Ascae Viama que nous voyons en premier plan (ne va pas vérifier sur googule, j'invente n'importe quoi ! mais il faut reconnaître que c'est plus chic d'en parler ainsi ! ;-)). Tu as vraiment trouvé le bon traitement pour faire ressortir des contrastes suffisamment forts pour faire ressortir tous ces détails.
J'aurais été curieuse cependant de voir une même photo avec un cadrage moins serré.
Mais c'est du beau travail une fois encore.
