Photographer’s Note

s.s.Bounty on visit to Geenock 13.9.2009
Here she is tied up at Customhouse Quay, Greenock.
On a short stay, next day she was gone, too late for more photos.

I wondered as to what the white arrow piece was on the,
Bow Spirit, the piece that is forward of the bow.
It adds strength to the Bowspirit.
The arrow is for decoration only.
I thought some sounding device. I was Wrong.

Hello Robert,
I like the close cropping here and the use of the black and white, almost sepia tones. The bollard in the bottom right is well included, nicely balancing the composition. An image full of nostalgia; I like it a lot.

Very, very beautiful this photo. The colour was very well chosen.Nice graphic effects and an excellent pov.

PS. I had a problem with my PC. A powerful and dangerous virus attacked it and it was very difficult to exclude it.
