Photographer’s Note
The GLOW lightart festival is every year in Eindhoven.
Linked to it is a photography contest and i'm one of the six elected this year!! :-)
The photo shows the grave of the incandescent lightbulb.
The lightbulb was born in Eindhoven by the Philips company. And it also died in Eindhoven, since Philips invented the energy saving light and the LED. The grave is a contraption during the Eindhoven GLOW lightart festival. I liked the interaction with the family and the darkness of it all being displayed on a graveyard.

Hello Dennis,
This is a great photo! I saw your forum this morning, so I have already voted for you:-)
Good composition with the gravestone running diagonally and the family gathered around it, and with the cross in the background. The blue tree supplements the scene nicely.
Your story is told extremely well. I especially like the expression of the boy and his reflection.
Thanks and have a nice day, Dasha
