Photographer’s Note
Flores is one of the most beautiful and charming islands that I have seen.Seven small lakes (all filled caldeiras) are hidden in the mountains of this most western island of Europe.
Almost all of the lakes have different colours.
These 2 volcanic lakes, close to each other, have been turned bright turquoise and green from algae and bacteria living in the water.
