As Georgio Clementi says it is difficult to take photo in Valmontone, the town was completely destroyed by bombing and little has been saved of medieval age, here I liked the play of light and shadow

It is a great pity about the car but that's something outside your control:-( A fine composition making good use of the vertical format. Some fine shadows cast by the elegant lamp and the balcony. Very good light and colours.

I like the basic idea of the picture.
And it works to an extent.
But just a little bit too much of the car for me.

Ciao caro Silvio,
quando uno è un bravo fotografo ed ha buon colpo d'occhio, riesce a tirar fuori immagini interessanti da qualsiasi cosa, come hai fatto tu in questo caso.
Probabilmente questa immagine, ricca di dettagli, la maggior parte di noi non l'avrebbe "vista" e sarebbe andanto avanti ignorandola. Qui sta la differenza tra il bravo fotografo e quello dozzinale. Il resto lo fa la macchina fotografica. Complimenti!

Ciao Silvio,
una foto troppo diversa dalle tue solite a cui siamo abituati.
Anche a me piace il gioco di luci ed ombre e la composizione tutto sommato non è male.
Il lampione sulla sinistra è anche un ottino elemento compositivo.
Io però avrei croppato quei fili in alto taqliando anche di un dito sopra il lampione.
Questione di gusti :))

confermo quanto detto, quello che non hanno fatto le bombe, lo fanno le persone, uno quelli che posteggiano le macchine davanti ai portoni e secondo gli amministratori che non hanno un minimo senso del decoro cittadino.
poteva essere un angolino delizioso......

this combination of white wall with pretty window and old wooden door, lovely lantern, silver car and mirror, is picturesque.
