Photographer’s Note

This is Teruel, the smallest Spanish capital of a province. And this building is its cathedral which tower, and painted ceiling are since 1986 World Heritage.
There are three towers more in the city, all very similar to this one which are also World Heritage. The towers had a double function: to house the bells and to be defensive watchtowers.
The architectural style, mudejar, was developed during the time of the Reconquista in Spain, by the Muslims that remained living among the Christians.
