Photographer’s Note
This is another barn located at Mormon Row. It was part of a Mormon settlement circa 1910 and it is located about 7 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming. For this shot I used the 70-200 to compress the barn into the Grand Teton range in the BG. I also added some saturation to accentuate the morning sun on the barn. Incidentally early morning at sunrise is the best time to photograph these barns.

I like the burnt colors of the barn against the mountain background. A good choice for your POV and nice bright colors with the sunshine shining on the barn. Lovely shot. Take care, Migelo

Very nice angle and good use of the saturation. Although, there's some graininess in the picture, not sure if accentuated by the saturation, or if you had to use a higher ISO. The warm colors seem to also increase the age of the barn. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Phil
I'm impressed with this warm portrait. The natural light shining on the side is glowing, creating a romantic mood.
The backdrop is just as stunning, and worhty of photographing.
The ragged posts on the right, complete the scene.
Great depht of field.

Hi Phil
J'aime beaucoup l'ambiance qui se dégage de cette photo. Les couleurs sont chaudes et j'aime l'ancienneté de la maison, son côté "fatigué" face à la nature écrasante.

Hi Phil
Wow this is magnificant! This is my favourite photo of yours. Plus I am still on my barn kick. Lucky you to be able to get away and find such amazing images.
I love the burnt orange colour of the barn. Good details shown both of the barn and the surrounding area. Very warm and rich looking. Beautiful scenary in the BG too. Well composed. This is going in my favourites!
Take care,
Tosca
PS I leave for Vegas today hope I can get some good shots there.

Hi Phil,
Nice - I vividly recall standing near where you took this shot with about 8 other photographers and awaited the morning light. A beautiful location especially with the Tetons as a backdrop. Nice light and the compressed perspective is very interesting. TFS. GErald

Hi Phil,
Love how the table flat valley suddenly rises up this steep mountains.
Theearly day golden light brings splendid detals in this lovely old log barn.
The 1954 move "Shane" was shot nearby with Jack Palance getting the Emmy for best supporting actor.
