Saint-Chély du Tarn, Sainte-Énimie

The village, bridge, church and castle.
The houses.

The church Notre-Dame of the Assumption of the 11th 12th centuries, in Saint-Chély-du-Tarn village of the Sainte-Énimie commune, listed in 1155, is all that there remains monastery rested by saint-Hilaire, bishop of Gévaudan at the 6th century. It depended on the monastery on Sainte-Énimie.
The church made of stones ocher and composed of a single nave and an apse with five sides, shelters a bell of 1362. It is classified since 1984.

One enter the village while crossing the Tarn river on a bridge with one arch, to discover there, in addition to his church, his houses near the Tarn river, and his castle of the 15th century.

Sainte-Enimie is a french commune, located in the department of Lozère of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 509 Santrimiols in 1999, distributed out of 88 km², that is to say 6 hab./km².

At the bank of the Tarn river, and fountain of Burle, the village of Sainte-Énimie is located between the two large causses Méjean and Sauveterre.

Sainte-Énimie is one of the "Plus Beaux Villages of France", one of the more beautiful village of France.

The commune of Sainte-Énimie gathers several quite as beautiful villages and hamlets the ones as the others, Like Castelbouc, Hauterives, Prades, Saint-Chély-of-Tarn, which are on banks of the Tarn river, whereas Boisset, Champerboux and Sauveterre, are on causse of Sauveterre.

According to the legend:
Énimie would have been the daugther of Clotaire II, (584-629), king of the Francs from 613 to 629, and dedicated its life with God. It contracted leprosy thus pushing back its suitors. With the advertisement of an angel, she cures herself by a bath taken in the Fountain of Burle. Its life of holiness, then will occur on the spot, where she died about 628.

Bonsoir joel,

Trés jolie cette église adossée à la montagne, belle clarté et lumière. Tu as choisis l'angle idéal, cette vue donne de la perspective a ta composition, les couleurs sont d'un naturel. Merci pour le partage.

Devant cette colline avec le couleurs d'automne, comme elle resort à merveille cette église, superbe, avec le cimetière , on voit de granit neuf, le rendu sure le vielle pierres de la facades, mangigique.

quelle magnifique lumière qui donne sur le mur de pierre de cette église, une lumière douce, une belle petite église toujours bien située, enclavée comme nous le montre tes ws, avec le pont également
belle composition avec son cimetière attenant

Bonjour Joël,

Ces églises villageoises entourée par un cimetière ont un charme très particulier. Excellent cadrage, bon angle de vue et détails très bien captés. Ce que j'apprécie tout particulièrement ici c'est la belle harmonie dans les couleurs à la fois des matériaux de construction et de la végétation en octobre.

La netteté, la gestion de la lumière, les couleurs et la profondeur sont excellentes!
Le point de vue est bon, mais je voudrais voir la partie inferieure un petit peu plus!

Bonsoir Joël,

Le cimetière et les arbres cadrent bien l'église. La prise de vue de 3/4 permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de deux côtés de l'église Notre-Dame. Les couleurs sont rehaussées par la qualité de la lumière. Bonne soirée.
