Autumnal splendour Photo

Photographer’s Note

My photo was taken near the small village Werpe in the region called Sauerland, situated in southern Westphalia.
It was taken near the eastern end of the village and it shows the street o the nearby small town Schmallenberg.
The next day the cold, rainy and grey autumn began and it still is continuing ...

Wieder eine tolle herbstliche Szene mit den finessen und Einzelheiten einer guten und gelungenen Aufnahme. Gut dass es nicht allzu symmetrisch laeuft und man die Felder links noch sehen kann.

TE neighbour this morning. A splendid perspective down this tree lined road. The image has great depth and the autumn colours of the trees look magnificent under the pale blue sky. Greetings from a windy Charente-Maritime.

Hi Frank, great fall shot. The leaves on the trees are superb in their coloring. I imagine this won't last too long. Perfect compostion with the road leadidng the viewer down the street.

BTW, I too have had all kinds of problems viewing pictures here on TREK Earth. Does this happen oftern? I thought there was a problem with my computer, but I could get pictures on other web sites. Regards, Roger

Hallo Frank. Viele Photo scheinem einem vertraut, weil man ähnliches auch gesehen hat. So ist auch auch mit diesem Photo. Jeder kennt diese Straßen und Bäume an den Seiten. Du hast dieses Typische sehr gut mit Deiner Kamera eingefangen. Zudem gefallen mirt die herbstlichen Farben sehr gut. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang, - und einen schönen erholsamen Sonntag.

Hello Frank,
This is a very surprising photo, and it's amazing that it could receive 20 points yesterday ;-)
Yesterday there was no way I could even connect to TE. I can't understand how so many people could log on to that hopelessly slow server.
So I watch this fine photo one day late. I find brilliant colours and a very straightforward and simple composition, like out of an instruction-book.

Another of a great series of autumn photos Frank and with great use of the road sliding over to the left. Winter must hit Germany soon! Summer is trying to sneak in here.
