Photographer’s Note

A log cabin near Whitehorse, Here in the North living in a log cabin out of city limits is a lifestyle.
A lot of people like to enjoy peaceful location but but you have to organize your life because just like this place you have to live without electric power,wothout telephone line and also cell phone because here cellphone doesn t work everywhere. On this picture you can see a small track going down, they use it to go to the lake for water....

Hi Claude,

The most impressive in the high latitudes is this light, strange and soft. It is very different that in tropical and equatorial regions. Excellent composition, very good POV, the colored cabin is a great focal point.

Bien composée ta photo avec le chalet en point fort, superbe effet de cette lumière, sur ce versant, qui allonge les ombres des arbres, bon contraste avec l'ombre et le ciel sombre en arrière plan.
