Photographer’s Note
Antequera isn't a "big" destination for tourists. It is a good city for a base but with plenty of interesting sights as well. There are a couple of Europe's best dolmens dating from over 4000 years ago (as well as good bars and restaurants).
The old main square is quiet these days especially at about 9 (Who in Spain is up at 9 on a Monday morning? - just one person making a phone call and a back packer (he's behind the statue) taking photos whilst waiting for a bus.

Hello Ian ,
What a beautiful presentation of this superb building . Saturated colors are very pleasant . The framing is excellent , as the composition , with some branches of palm trees , the shade of it on the ground , the man on the benche ...
Very well done .

Hello Ian,
The Spanish sun and the sky emphasize your obviously selected and considered framing. This quiet and alive man, at the same time creates a contrast close to this martial, dynamic and fixed statue. Excellent realization. Cheer.
Have a nice sunday
Cordially
