Photographer’s Note

I was invited to a wedding ceremony last Saturday and lucky to have a shot for my own. Sürmeli Hotel Roof is a proper place for such organizations, I have given 10 points to the staff and the environment.

White and pure, always admirable, always dream for a woman.

I wonder if this photo will survive in TE or not, let us try.

I hope this picture survives...and I wonder why your apprehension. A wonderful play of light and shadow and the fact that we don't see her face makes this even more of a mystery. Super shot against light

Your option to post in B&W fits relally well providing a very special light, and as we don´t see her face adds a mysterious sense very good..

A great play of contrasts and light management and absolute control ...Really brilliant!

Yo pienso que es una de las mejores fotos en B/N que he visto últimamente en TE ...... que aparte de los contrastes y a luz que son excelentes .... has conseguido un retrato: hermoso, discreto, elegante en el que incluso en lo oscuro de la cara se le intuye una bonita sonrisa.

endişelerin yersiz değil, zira benim de iki fotoğrafımı sildiler "stüdyo ışığı" diye. birini müzeden diye kurtardım, diğeriyse güme gitti. halbuki salakların stüdyo ışığı diye triplendiği ışık, ayasofyanın penceresinden gelen gün ışığıydı... neyse...

oto sansüre rağmen neşeli gülümsemesi belli oluyor. gelinliğin boncukları ve dantellerindeki detay netlik süper. ışığa zaten laf yok.

Figencim,bu nasıl bir kare.Işık ile gölgeyi adeta bir telkari ustası gibi işlemişsin.Tül,gelinlik nefis görünüyor.Yüzü saklaman gizemli bir hava yaratmış.Seni candan tebrik ediyorum.

Merhaba Figen, bu nefis olmuş, şanslı gelin, eminim bu ışığın yüz detaylarında oynaştığı karelerin de vardır. Bu haliyle hem TE'nin anlamına uygun, hem de gizemli bir havası var, Çok beğendim, gene konuşturmuşsun kameranı. Eline sağlık.

Hey...TE is not a measure of whether a photo is good or not or if it will survive..

you know when a photo is good or when its not worthy of sharing..once youve posted it it means more than half the battle is won..you have made a good photo Figen..thats where it starts and end..the rest is forgettable..

Love the PP that has gone into this..trust had this been off the film you would have spent as much time in the darkroom getting similar results..the art is in the mind..no matter what tech we use the end results will always be the same..
