Photographer’s Note
A lot of touristic book guides push their readers to experience the places they visit. Look for that unknown restaurant, find that unconfortable B&B, travel hitchhiking...
It is a great way to know the real hidden sides of countries and people...but sometimes I feel unconfortasble when travelling in poor countries... It seems like if we visit a 'zoo', within some days we'll be in our rich homes, we'll drive our modern cars with air conditioning, maybe telling stories to our friends about that day, when we were on that old pickup, that was cheaper than my brand new Lacoste T-shirt...
Who is the victim, the tourist or the people we left there?

Wow, Giorgio,
what a wonderful and sensitive note and an excellent photograph as well. I love the DOF and the occupants of that pickup are perfectly placed and in outstanding focus. I like the way the road leads into the distance and you did a great job with the lighting. This is the very kind of shot Trekearth is about. Awesome. Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly

dear Giorgio,
very cheerful scene, and wonderful capturing,
the feeling of people there is determined by the climate, not by economical condition.
their smiling is superb, (of course frowning face is severe too...)
this light and wind are very Cuban,
thank you,
Akihisa

Dobra ideja i realizacija snimka-fotografije.
Puno pozdrava i zdravlje, zeli vam Paja.

Ciao Giorgio

Bella foto, bravo, ciao Silvio

Ciao Gio, interesting foto & equally interesting point you raise, my father in-law, whom I admired, always said there are always two sides to a story, our view depends on the side of the fence we sit. Some nice expressions you have captured here. Bravo
Saluti
Santo
