This is what i am talking about..the portraits and all are just great but this is the essence of daliy life too..and the ghats offer the most intricate stories and moments..one really has to see else he will end making the mundane photos..

the quintessential is alright but the offbeat is what catches the eye..i like this from the outset..the spread..the proportions..good one caleb

Interesting and a little unrealist composition for us, Europeans : animals and poeple in the stairs, together...
Great composition, I would just like to clon the windows in the right top corner.

I've seen many pictures of this on TE, so it's great to see your version here, Caleb. Yes, there's that tight crop above the head, and the perfect sense of composition is in place too! Thanks for showing this 'different' picture of yours.

Hi Caleb,
A very effective composition where all the steps form a very fine and graphical pattern. The different "actors" on this "stage" seem to be carefully placed by a director, making each one play a very specific part. Indeed a very interesting picture!

I really like this one!The stairs form a wonderful pattern and then, we have this great daily scene with the woman praying, the pilgrim and the goats calmly resting. Perfectly framed!
