Glasshouse Mountains from Bribie Island Photo

Photographer’s Note

When James Cook and the crew of the Endeavour sailed these waters in 1770 he noted that behind the channel between the island and the mainland the tips of some ruggted peaks appeared to be located in a house with milky glass walls and he named the area accordingly.

da bist Du ja deiner Nick-name-Vorlage regelhaft nahe gekommen, zumindest ortstechnisch gesehen..
tolle Stimmung in diesem Bild, und man verstehen, wenn man die Berge im HG betrrachtet, wie der verfasser auf den Namen gekomen ist..

Nice POV to see the Glasshouse Mountains, I have not seen them from this perspective so may have to take a trip to Bribie to see it for myself. TFS.
