THE BELLYBUTTON OF THE WORLD!

After spending my three first days in PERU in LIMA (Peru's Capital City), it was very welcome to arrive in Cusco where the good mood was all over (at least that was what I felt since the very first moment there, even before landing there)! LIMA was too big for me, always cloudy and crowded! What a pleasure to be in sunny Cusco!

Olá Neyvan,
I do have some unpleasant memories of the Plaza de armas. In the early 90s I crossed it to have dinner in a restaurant round the corner. 15 minutes later I heard a big bang. It turned out that it was a small car bomb placed by the "Sendero Luminoso" (shining path). I don't know if this fanous Peruvian guerilla organitzation is still active, but I can tell you it was a horrible feeling when I realized, that I had passed this bomb only 15 minutes ago. Fortunately there were no casualities. I really loved Cusco and its beautiful surrounding, but there were moments of doubts about Peru. Great picture and good title. Well done.

Yes Cusco is a nice city with a very relaxed atmosphere and many things to do and to see.
Especially this Plaza is great and I like your composition with the steep hill and the cross on top.

Beautiful architecture photo and great daily life scene! Great POV, great composition and framing! Good light management and beautiful colours! I would surely like to go there!

Une photo à la composition bien équilibrée en trois plans bien distincts et bien délimités: un avant§plan vivant et coloré, une partie réservée à l'habitat très avec une belle harmonie de couleur et enfin la montagne dans el BG. POV très bien choisi également.

curioso este ângulo, geralmente a gente é atraído pal catedral e pela igreja dos jesuítas , mas aqui vc preferiu o outro lado da encosta , a parte menos afamada. bela vista, boa luz e enquadramento,. a vida urbana é bem mostrada aqui.gostei de cuzco, como visitante, mas não é umn lugar que meu coração escolheria para viver, acho que eu gostei muito mais de arequipa.
